Mares As our foundation mares were getting on in years, we decided it was time to retain a daughter of each to carry Coblynau to the next stage.

Coblynau Cyfnos

Cyfnos was born July 14, 1997. She is the only black foal ever produced by Vixen, so we knew she was a keeper. She is also 15hh. Her first foal, Coblynau Cwm Tuddu, by Cwmfelen Bonheddwr ap Brenin, has gone to California as a riding/driving cob. Her second foal, Coblynau Danzy Jones, by Avonvalley Dow Jones, can be seen on our for sale page.

Coblynau Catrin O'R Berain

Catie was born June 30, 1996. She is black with a large star and two white socks in the back. She stands 15hh and is the spitting image of her dam. We knew as soon as she was born we would retain her as a broodmare.

Coblynau Cemaes

Cemaes was born May 21, 2001. She is black with a small star, stripe, and 4 white socks. She is a granddaughter of the well know Merioneth Merlyn, owned and shown successfully by Kirsten Brunner for many years. Cemaes is a very pretty pony, standing 14hh, and is a superb mover. She is in foal to Avonvalley Dow Jones - the foal is due in July/06.
